The Portland, Ore., band Blind Pilot crashed on the couches at my apartment last night after their show at the High Noon.

I had no idea that one of the bands whose debut album has been in my heavy rotation in the last few months just happened to be friends with my roommate. A fun, random surprise.

They were super nice. A late-night showing of “Willow” and some Burrito Drive made for a fun little Tuesday night.

Hope they come back to Madison sometime when I can actually catch the show.
